About the Author

Storyteller at Heart

Even as a young child I was always conjuring up stories and filling them with colorful characters, sharing them with anyone and everyone who would listen. I recall at 7 years old, spending the entire day outside with my cousin Tanisha writing, directing and acting in our own movie. She, the brilliant actress and me the wonderful storyteller. Since then, I’ve progressed quite a bit to formulating more complex stories and sharing them with much larger audiences. As a professional storyteller, I’m adept at using my imaginative thinking and creative flair to bring my stories to life in engaging and entertaining ways.

If you read my chapter Benecia Street in the anthology Survival: Living Life by Design, then you'll be happy to know the full book will be available soon! I've lived on 34 streets, and I chronicle life growing up on each one. My mother's battle to keep our little family together while battling mental illness, joblessness and sometimes homelessness made for a unique childhood journey. Read the first book in a series, of how I went from hot mess to truly blessed.
